Night 2 of the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2012 went hard and everyone there had a good time, especially the presenters. DJ Prostyle of New York’s Power 105.1 sprinted on-stage in an all-black ensemble to warm up the crowd and to introduce a fellow New York native, LL Cool J!

LL strolled on-stage and before he said a word stood in a model-esque stance and licked his lips –his signature move. The ladies in the crowd went wild. It’s clear that he’s still a heartthrob having been in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years.

He flashed his perfect smile and began to introduce Mary J. Blige to the audience.

In his speech, he explained what it mean to be from New York. If you’re from New York have to be a fighter, someone who can “box” and fight off the haters.

His words were great as he referenced that Mary was a “fighter” because it’s takes “fight” to weather storms and to remain in the game for as long as she's been in the game.

But she’s not the only one; LL Cool J is also capable of getting in ‘the ring’ to “knockout” the competition. Remember the little incident that involved someone trying to invade his home? Yeah, that intruder didn’t get far because “mama said knock you out”.

LL and Mary are strong “fighters” and great role models.

After LL's touching introduction, “Real Love” starts playing and the rest is history –iHeartRadio history!
